About 16 years ago, our work started during the foreclosure crisis. Families were trying to understand loan documents, servicer errors, modification options, and the paperwork that could affect whether they kept their homes.
That experience led us to build practical software tools, including 4StepLoanMod, loan modification workflow software, foreclosure-support tools, and credit repair software. The goal was simple: organize complicated information so advocates, homeowners, and professionals could take clearer action.
That is where the Software Matrix idea began. We saw that software could help regular people navigate complex systems, not by replacing human judgment, but by making the process easier to understand, document, and manage.
That understanding still guides the work today.
